2001 – Founding of Global Integrated Food Franchises (G.I.F.F): Established as an Egyptian joint-stock company to transform the to-go food sector.
2006 – Founding of Integrated Food Franchising (I.F.F.): G.I.F.F establishes subsidiary Integrated Food Egyptian joint-stock company to transform the to-go food sector. Investments in advanced Modified Atmosphere Packaging (M.A.P.) laid the groundwork for innovation in health-conscious, ready-made meals.
2006 – Launch of the 2GO Concept: Introduced a game-changing grab-and-go food solution tailored to the modern, mobile lifestyle. Simplicity, speed, and functionality became foundational.
2007 & 2013 – Industry Accreditations: Achieved ISO 22000, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 certifications, followed by Halal licensing in 2013—establishing I.F.F. as a certified leader in quality and food safety.
2013 – Introduction of Autoclaved Ready Meals: Launched a new category of meals with a 12-month shelf life, no preservatives, and full nutritional value. Packaged in multi-compartment trays for balance, hygiene, and convenience.
2022 – Founding of Saudi Integrated Food Franchising (S.I.F.F.): G.I.F.F partners up with Habib Trading Company to establish Saudi Integrated Food Franchising, a G.I.F.F. affiliate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
2023 – Smart Factory Development in Jeddah: Announced and began construction of a 25,000m² AI-powered, LEED-certified Smart Factory in Saudi Arabia. Capable of producing 500,000 meals per day and storing 8 million—designed with minimal environmental impact.
2024 – Brand Reinvention:

“My professional journey began in 1989 when I stepped into the world of academia. With a deep passion for space, structure, and how people interact with their environments, I pursued a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture in 1994, followed by a PhD in 1999. Over time, I climbed the academic ladder—from teaching academic assistant to full Professor Dr. by 2012. Teaching and researching kept me constantly engaged with the latest theories and applications in architecture and design. But parallel to my academic path, I had another passion: bringing design to life in the real world.
While designing fast food outlets, casual dining spaces, and mobile catering setups, I began to notice a persistent problem—one that troubled me deeply. There was a growing disconnect between functionality and hygiene. In an effort to boost returns, many clients were prioritizing customer-facing spaces (Zone 2) at the expense of food preparation zones (Zone 1). The result? Cramped kitchens, unsafe workflows, and increased risk of cross-contamination. As an interior architect and a professor, I understood the gravity of this compromise—not just in terms of design, but public health.
This realization was a turning point. I knew I had to do more than just adjust blueprints. In 2006, I made a bold move: I established my own food production company, launching a factory under the name Integrated Food Franchising in Egypt to bring a new vision to life—what I call the “2-Go” model.
The idea was simple yet transformative: separate food preparation from the point of sale. Using advanced technologies like Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) and autoclave sterilization, we prepare and package ready-to-eat meals at a central facility. These meals are shelf-stable for up to 24 months and can be safely transported and served anywhere. Our outlets—ranging from kiosks to vending machines and mobile units—require no kitchen, just a heating and serving zone (Zone 2). This drastically reduces contamination risks, ensures consistent quality, and delivers nutritious meals in minutes. We offer a sterilized, hygienic, healthy, sustainable, shelf-stable meal—an ideal solution for modern lifestyles, crisis response, and charitable initiatives.”
